Auckland: Indian men’s cricket team landed here on Sunday for their upcoming limited over series against New Zealand starting from January 23. The series will end on February 10.
There are going to be five ODIs and three T20s.
In the following video posted by BCCI’s twitter handle, we can see the fans welcoming Team India and reserving the loudest cheer for Captain Virat Kohli and his wife actress Anushka Sharma.
The team landed at Auckland and will then travel to Napier for their first ODI.
Team India will face a much tougher challenge here in comparison to Australia. Currently, the Kiwis are in top form with recently blanking Sri Lanka at home, and winning the Test and ODI series comfortably.
India will have to be a much better side overall to continue with their astounding performance.
The Men in Blue will begin their tour of New Zealand when the two teams face off in the first ODI on Wednesday, January 23 at the McLean Park in Napier. After beating Australia at their home in the Test and ODI series, India will be confident but will also look to improve certain areas before the big international tournament.
