New Delhi: The Indian Olympic Association has taken the approval to submit a bid to host the Commonwealth Games 2030, said reliable reports on Wednesday.
According to reports, on the matter of the Indian Olympic Association taking approval to submit a bid to host the Commonwealth Games 2030, Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha told ANI, “We have unanimously made the Commonwealth 2030 bid proposal. When you work together, you get the best results. I am so happy today.”
It is worth mentioning here that, earlier the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) had formally sent a Letter of Intent to host Olympics and Paralympics Games in 2036.
According to reports, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has formally sent Letter of Intent to Future Host Commission, International Olympic Committee on 1st October 2024.
The IOA has expressed India’s interest in hosting the Olympics and Paralympics Games in 2036, the sources in Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports further added.
