YouTuber from Delhi threatens businessman with fake rape case, arrested

The Delhi-based Youtuber was arrested by the police on December 5. The co-accused, Virat Beniwal, is being searched for and yet to get caught.

A YouTuber from Delhi allegedly threatened a businessman with a fake rape case and got 80 lakh rupees extorted from him. The YouTuber has been identified as Namra Qadir.

Reportedly, Qadir honey trapped a private firm owner and threatened of implicating him in a rape case. Qadir and her husband, Virat Beniwal, have said to been in this together. The accused, Namra Qadir, the Delhi-based Youtuber was arrested on December 5. she was produced at a district magistrate’s court, post which she was sent to police custody for four days of time. Her husband, however, is yet to be arrested. Police are conducting raids to have him entrapped.

The complaint was lodged by Dinesh Yadav, a resident of Badshahpur. In the complaint, he said that he had gotten in touch with Qadir sometime back and as a series of incidents followed, he was able to identify her true intentions. He said that Qadir and Beniwal extorted a huge sum of money along with lots of other gifts from him.

Rajesh Kumar, a station house inspection officer said that Qadir has confessed to all her crimes. After the Delhi-based Youtuber was arrested, the police are now working on recovering the valuables she has gathered for long.
Dinesh Yadav had filed the complaint in August earlier this year. The couple kept escaping the probe by the court and also applied for interim bail. It was when their bail plea was rejected, they had to face the authorities and officials. Namra Qadir has a following of 617k subscribers on YouTube.
