Pilot succumbs to injuries as IAF Jaguar aircraft crashes during night mission in Jamnagar
A trainer aircraft crashed during night mission in Jamnagar, one pilot succumbed to his injuries meanwhile another is receiving treatment.
Indian Air force Jaguar aircraft which departed from Jamnagar airfield reportedly crashed during a night mission. Speculations are the reason of crash is technical malfunction of the aircraft.
During a night mission an IAF Jaguar two-seater aircraft which departed from Jamnagar Airfield crashed. According to the preliminary investigation, the pilots faced a technical malfunction and initiated ejection, which helped them to avoid harm to airfield and local population.
One pilot is reported to be dead as he succumbed to his injuries. The other pilot is receiving treatment at a hospital in Jamnagar.
IAF has posted about the incident on X (formerly twitter), and given their condolence to the family of deceased. They have also informed that a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to further ascertain the cause of the accident.
