Haryana: Haryana is going to carve out the first theme park in India in Manesar inspired by Disneyland, a giant 500-acre mega complex that will change the entertainment landscape of Haryana forever. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the project will be developed strategically along the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway and Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor to provide easy access from Delhi and neighbouring cities.

This is a project that will place the National Capital Region on the same level as international destinations like Paris, Tokyo, and California, creating thousands of jobs and increasing infrastructure. The theme park is to be a “game-changer” for Haryana’s economy and culture, with economic, cultural, and social gains not only to the state but to the country at large.

The area close to Pachgaon Chowk in Manesar was selected for its good connectivity and marketability, proximity to corporate centers in Gurugram, and the proposed 1,000-acre Global City project. CM Saini states that the entertainment complex will spur hospitality and real estate growth, and it will be a landmark development for the region.

Although authorities verify work is in progress, Disney has not made an official announcement as yet. However, this development will place Haryana in the international tourism map, and it would emerge as an international tourism destination with a big boost to the state economy.
