Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, an ex-serviceman slaughtered his wife and then boiled her body in a pressure cooker. The incident occurred in Meerpet in Rangareddy district on the outskirts of Hyderbad on Wednesday.

The man identified as Guru Muthy filed a  complaint with the police that his wife, Venkata Madhavi went missing on January 18. Police started an investigation into the matter after lodging a complaint.

Police found that for the last few days the couple were having a strained relationship and often quarreled. Suspecting Guru Murthy’s activities police questioned him and he confessed to having committed the crime.

He said that in a fit of rage he killed his wife with a knife and then chopped her into pieces and boiled them in a pressure cooker. Later on he dumped the boiled parts into a lake in Jillelaguda. Police is finding the evidence from the lake.

It is to be mentioned here that, Guru Murthy was an ex-serviceman and had served as a security guard at DRDO in Kanchan Bagh. The couple had married 13 years ago and bear two children.

In an attempt to outsmart police officials, he himself lodged a complaint with the police after killing his wife.
