4 youths to walk 1500 km to Ayodhya’s Shree Ram temple from Odisha
They are expected to reach Ayodhya on January 22, the day of the inauguration of the great temple of Shree Ram
Berhampur: Devotees to walk about 1500 km from Odisha’s Berhampur to the new Shree Ram temple in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh. In a great show of devotion for Lord Shree Ram, as many as four youths have set out from Ganjam district for the abode of Lord Shree Ram in Ayodhya.
Ahead of the great opening of the Lord Shree Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024 devotees from different places across the country have shown their devotion by adopting different methods to showcase their devotion. And four youths from Odisha’s Ganjam district have also joined to this noble effort. They have decided to walk a long distance of 1500 km to reach their Lord’s abode that is going to be inaugurated on 22nd.
The historic temple of Lord Shree Ram is going to be inaugurated in Ayodhya after a long gap of about 500 years. This is a great news for the devotees of Lord Shree Ram.
The four youths from Berhampur who have set out for this religious tough journey are from the Municipality Colony slum of Berhampur. They first worshipped at the Shree Ram temple located at the Kampa Sahi of Berhampur and then set out for the long trip by walking. They will walk through Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh besides Odisha to reach the Shree Ram temple in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh. At the setting out function, many people remained present at the venue and cheered slogans like ‘Jay Shree Ram’, ‘Jay Shree Ram Lala’ to encourage the devotees. They are expected to reach Ayodhya on the day of inauguration on January 22.
