Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor marked their daughter Raha Kapoor’s first birthday with a heartwarming celebration at their Mumbai home, Vastu. The joyous event brought together close friends and family, including Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, and Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor. Notably, the event featured a delightful panda-themed birthday bash, as captured in inside photos and videos.
To make the day even more special, the couple hosted a house party with a carefully curated menu, thanks to The Private Chefs Club. The head chef, Harsh Dixit, took to Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself and his team with the jubilant parents, Alia and Ranbir, who were dressed casually for the occasion. The chef extended birthday wishes, stating, “Happy birthday Raha (cake and panda emojis).”
The celebration also saw the presence of Kareena Kapoor, along with her sons Jeh and Taimur Ali Khan, as well as Mahesh Bhatt and Karisma Kapoor.
For Raha’s special day, the menu featured an array of mouthwatering treats. Among them were fries, ribbon sandwiches, and Brie chilli cheese toast, making it a delightful spread. The menu, displayed in Alia and Ranbir’s kitchen, also incorporated two panda bear figures, adding to the panda-themed ambiance.
Alia Bhatt’s sister, Shaheen Bhatt, shared a sneak peek of the festivities on her Instagram. She posted an image of a pink personalized cookie shaped like the number 1, bearing Raha’s name. In her caption, she expressed her sentiments, saying, “Time flies when you’re having fun. Happy Birthday my bean – there is no greater joy than loving you.” Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, also shared glimpses of Raha’s birthday cookies on her Instagram.
