Mumbai: In a major success to Mumbai police in the musician Pritam Chakraborty’s office loot case, his office boy has been held with the cash.
According to reports, the Malad Police of Mumbai has arrested musician Pritam Chakraborty’s office boy in case of theft of Rs 40 lakh from the music director’s office.
Further reports said that, he has been arrested from Jammu Kashmir and as much as 95% of the stolen cash has been recovered. The accused has been identified as Ashish Bootiram Sayal (32).
The office boy who had allegedly stole a bag full of Rs 40 lakh from the studio on the pretext of delivering goods to Pritam Chakraborty’s house and then absconded. The theft had taken place on February 4, said reports.
After registering the case, Malad Police investigated 150 to 200 CCTV cameras and then caught the accused from Jammu and Kashmir confirmed the Mumbai Police.
