Mumbai: After a fruitful collaboration in successful films like Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will come together for a project once again. This was confirmed by Salman Khan himself while the star was promoting his upcoming TV show.
Salman was quoted saying, “I am doing a film with Sanjay. I haven’t heard the script. I have heard the line of it. I have been trying to call him but he isn’t attending my calls. Just tell him to call me up.”
Notably, Salman was had last worked with Bhansali over a decade back in the 2007 film Saawariya. The movie, which marked the debut of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, had failed to create magic at the box office. However, with Salman confirming his presence in Bhansali’s film, fans are excited to see the director-star duo reunite after a long gap of 11 years.
While Salman has publicly confirmed the news, an official announcement from Sanjay Leela Bhansali is yet to be made. On the work front, Salman is gearing up for his next titled Bharat. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi. Bharat is slated to release on Eid 2019.
