Bollywood has announced their slate of releases for 2021 and this has ensured a constant flow of Bollywood movies, which are releasing in theatres in 2021 that have the potential to bring back the audience for that big-screen cinematic experience and provide a much-needed shot in the arm for the industry at the box-office.
Bollywood celebrities want to cash in on the excitement and are waiting to grab the opportunity to make more at the box office. Big-budget films have set their eyes on the big prize promised by extended weekends and so a box office battle among films seem inevitable.
As of now, Bollywood has lost 8000 crores as per sources during Covid 19 Pandemic and if the theatre opens the loss may go less if the audience gets back to cinema like the Pre-Covid days.
The major movies are about to hit the theatres, Roohi which is scheduled on March 11, followed by Sooryavanshi on April 2, Bunty Aur Babli 2 on April 23, the big Eid clash between Radhe and Satyameva Jayate 2 on May 12 followed by 83 on June 11 and finally, Shamshera on June 25. List of film-like Lal Singh Chada, Bigbull, KGF Chapter 2 and Dhakkad, Brahmastra, Gangubai Katiawati are some of the most awaited films in the way.
In an ideal scenario of the four biggest releases Sooryavanshi, 83, Radhe and Shamshera may be all together 1000 crore benefit, but as the world in midst of the pandemic, the maker is still expecting a trial and error method for now.
There still lies a chance for these films to blow up the lid; however, the eyes of the trade are all set to see the audience consumption pattern on Roohi to predict the biz of all the other upcoming films, as the first theatrical release of the big banners.
The movie buffs are super excited as some of the most awaited flicks will hit the silver screens in 2021.
