TVS Ntorq 150 to launch in early September in India, know details about the launch

With the launch of Ntorq 150, TVS is expected to capture the 150cc-160cc scooter segment in the country (i.e. India).

The TVS Ntorq 150 will be launching in the first week of September in India. According to a report by Autocar India, the sports scooter will be launching in India on September 4. Earlier reports had suggested the bigger version of the Ntorq scooter is in the works.

TVS Ntorq 150 expected specifications

With the launch of Ntorq 150, TVS is expected to capture the 150cc scooter segment in the country. The teaser has revealed bold headlight design of the Ntorq 150. It is expected that the scooter will be carrying forward the sporty design of the Ntorq 125 on the new scooter and add something more.

In terms of engine specifications, the company is yet to announce them. However, media reports have mentioned that the new scooter will have an all-new liquid cooled 150cc engine. If it is true, we can assume that the engine will generates around 14 bhp of maximum power. The presence of liquid cooled engine on the scooter will help it compete with the likes of Yamaha Aerox and Hero Xoom. When it comes to safety, the Ntorq 150 is expected to get single channel ABS. The scooter is expected to offer an inclined seat rather than a traditional straight seat.

Important specifications on the scooter are expected to include digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, SmartXonnect features as well as alerts on smartphone.

When it comes to pricing, the TVS Ntorq 150 is expected to costs around Rs 1.50 lakh in India. This is expected because Hero Xoom 160 costs Rs 1.49 lakh while Yamaha Aerox 155 costs Rs 1.51 lakh.
