Deepika Padukone To Star in ‘Raazi’ director Meghna Gulzar’s Next?

Mumbai: After the super-successful ‘Padmavat’, Deepika Padukone hasn’t signed any projects. She was supposed to star in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next opposite Irrfan Khan but the project has been kept on the back burner due to the actor’s illness.

However, if reports are to be believed, Deepika is currently in talks with Raazi director Meghna Gulzar for a project. According to a report published by DNA, the ‘Om Shanti Om’ star has signed a film with Meghna Gulzar. The duo are currently discussing the project and the details regarding the project are being strictly guarded.

Moreover, Deepika is also rumoured to have signed the Chalbaaz remake where she will play a double role and step into the shoes of late actress Sridevi who starred in the original.

At present. the actress is in news for her fairytale Italian wedding with rumoured beau Ranveer Singh in November this year. The wedding will supposedly be a private affair with only 30 guests attending the ceremony. This will be followed by grand receptions in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The rumoured couple, affectionately called DeepVeer by fans, have been reportedly dating since 2013. They have kept their relationship under wraps since the very beginning and refused to comment on their love life. Often called the ‘IT’ couple of Bollywood, the duo have starred together in successful films like Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat.
