President Ram Nath Kovind visits Hindu temple complex in Vietnam

Hanoi: President Ram Nath Kovind, who is on a three-day trip to the country, visited My Son temple complex, which houses Hindu gods like Krishna, Vishnu, and Shiva, in Vietnam on Monday. He planted saplings in the complex to mark his visit.

My Son complex was built between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa. It is partially ruined Hindu temples in Vietnam.

The shrine complex is situated in a valley nearly two kilometers wide. It is surrounded by two mountain ranges.

The My Son temple complex was the political and cultural capital of Champa Kingdom and has the Indian influence.
