SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023: Apply for 26146 Vacancies, Check eligibility, and other details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the online application process for the recruitment of GD Constables posts. The candidates who have passed the 10th class can apply for teh SSC GD Constable recruitment 2023 online on the official website of the commission from 24 November to 31 December.

The commission is filling up 26146 vacancies for Constable (General Duty) in various forces including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), IndoTibetan Border Police (ITBP),  Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General  Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR).

The registration process is underway and the application correction will be allowed from 04 to 06 Jan 2024.  The computer-based exam will be held on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, February and 01, 05, 06, 07, 11, 12 March 2024.

SSC GD Constable recruitment 2023 Salary 2025

The candidates will be paid a salary based Pay Level -3 Rs 21,700-69,100.

• Detailed Medical Test (DME)
• Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who clear the exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

Eligibility Criteria for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023

Age Limit

The candidates age limit should be between 18 to 25 years as of 1st January 2024.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should have passed 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the registration tab and register.

Step 2: Get login credentials.

Step 3: Log in and fill out the application form as per instructions.

Step 4: Upload documents and pay the application fee.

Step 5: Review the application forma and submit it.

Step 6: Download the file and take a printout so that it can be used for future reference.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 Application fee

The applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Women candidates and, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.

The fee can be paid online through UPI, net banking, cash through SBI branches or via Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay Credit or Debit cards.
