Twist in Bhubaneswar lady constable murder: Accused Deepak also killed first wife for money!
Parents of Deepak’s first wife Aparna Priyadarshini alleged that he killed their daughter in 2022 and showed it like an accident
Bhubaneswar: The parents of the deceased first wife of Deepak, the accused in the Bhubaneswar lady constable Subhasmita murder case, have complained that he killed their daughter for money. The first wife, identified as Aparna Priyadarshini died in 2022 and later Deepak had got Rs 20 lakh as insurance claim for the death of his wife.
Deepak Rout has been arrested recently for the charge of murder of Subhasmita, a lady constable, who was allegedly killed by him and 2 other accomplices. There was a term deposit life insurance policy of Rs 1 crore in her name. It has been suspected that he killed his wife to get the insurance money. Deepak was the nominee in this policy.
As per report Deepak’s first wife Aparna Priyadarshini died in 2022. Deepak had received Rs 20 lakh from the insurance company showing the death an accident. It was alleged that he had plotted to kill his first wife and made it look like an accident.
Recently, the mother of the first wife, has made a complaint against Deepak Rout after 3 years of that he deliberately killed his first wife. The mother of the first wife alleged this after 3 years of her daughter’s death.
Deepak had married a young woman from Tilapada village in Dhenkanal district. It has been allged that Deepak killed her and made it look like an accident. His first wife Aparna was then an RI in Kanderasingha under Parjang tehsil.
On the evening of March 17, 2022, Aparna was returning from Bhubaneswar to her father-in-law’s house in Tilapada with her husband Deepak. However, on the way back, Deepak called and informed her in-laws that she had died in an accident. She was seven months pregnant at the time.
The family has alleged that he killed Aparna and made it look like an accident.
He is a murderer, and he should be given strict punishment, Aparna’s mother has alleged. The family of the deceased first wife has demanded a high-level investigation into the incident.
