Kandhamal: Ganja was being smuggled in an expensive car in Kandhamal district of Odisha. As much as 24 kgs of ganja was seized in the district by the local police. One car has been seized.
According to reports, the Cuttack Central Excise and Investigation Department raided a vehicle while it was being smuggled from Kandhamal district to West Bengal. The Excise team raided the Telangana Pentha area near the National Highway.
A total of four accused have been arrested by the police. Two accused are from Kandhamal district while two accused are from West Bengal. It has been reported that the estimated value of the seized ganja is more than two lakh rupees.
