Ideal teacher Biren sir was posted to the primary school of Kakarbadi under Raikia Block of Kandhamal district as the head master about ten years back. He possesses very good qualities like kindness, good knowledge about his subject, nice teaching style, motivating, helping, understanding, and many more. As an ideal teacher he inspires us to perform better every day and ideal teachers help students build self-confidence.
Biren Sir sees school as his home and children as his sons and daughters. He is less of a teacher and more of a father.
Kakarbadi is located about 50 km away from Raikia. The villagers are simple and innocent. From the day Biren sir took of this school, he has become an exemplary headmaster and for the people of the entire panchayat. Starting from Independence Day, Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, and Children’s Day are being celebrated in the school premises at his own expense.
On the occasion of this 78th Independence Day, a statue of Gandhi and a statue of Bharatmata have been installed in the school premises.
Besides, with the initiative of Biren sir, flowers and fruit trees as well as different kinds of vegetable plants such as papaya, lemon, sweet potato etc. have been planted in the school garden for the children’s lunch.
He has made the school campus a homely place with his hard work. And he takes care of the children like a father. In case a student wants to bunk studies, he visits their house to convince the student and his parents to come the school regularly for studies.
The generous educator Biren sir teaches children in school and provides tuition in the morning and at night for free. Not only the school, he also treats the villagers as his family and helps them financially.
