TVS Ntorq 150 might launch in festive season of this year, to offer biggest engine in the company’s scooter line-up

TVS will be launching its biggest engine capacity scooter in India and it will be ‘TVS Ntorq 150.’ The scooter will launch most probably in the festive season of the year, mentioned Autocar India in its report. The TVS Ntorq 150 is likely to get biggest capacity engine put by the company.
Post the launch, the TVS Ntorq 150 will rival the likes of Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160 as well as Aprilia 160cc models.
It is expected that TVS is looking for the same amount of success that it had with the TVS Ntorq 125 model. The Ntorq 150 might have a liquid cooled engine as compared to tradition air-cooled engine, as its rival scooters do offer that (in case of Aerox 155, Xoom 160). Currently the company does not offer liquid cooled engine under 300cc. However, if the company plans to stick to affordability, they might opt for an air-cooled engine.
In case of safety features, the TVS Ntorq 150 is likely to offer ABS system (at least single-channel ABS). The styling of the TVS Ntorq 125 might be carried forward in the bigger 150cc model. The scooter might have 14-inch wheels just like the Hero, Yamaha and Aprilia scooters. Speaking about the price of the scooter, we can expect it to be priced around Rs 1.50 lakh.
