Apple is expected to launch the next-generation iPhone 17 series in September this year. The upcoming iPhone series will include four models- iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Design, Specifications
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to come with a aluminum frame instead of the titanium and stainless steel frame of current iPhones. The device will feature aluminum cover at the top of the back that will provide durability and glass at the bottom to support wireless charging.
The upcoming device will be equipped with new A19 Pro chip for faster performance. It will come with more storage of up to 12GB of RAM. This is because the device will offered with more AI features with Apple Intelligence. The AI features need more space to function properly. The phone will also have advanced camera capabilities. The iPhone 17 Pro Max could come with three 48MP cameras — Wide, Ultra Wide, and a new Tetraprism Telephoto lens. The front camera is also expected to be upgraded to 24MP, compared to 12MP on older models.

Apple typically launches its latest iPhones in September. Last year, the company unveiled the iPhone 16 series on September 9. This year, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series, including the 17 Pro Max, in the second or third week of September, likely between September 6-13, with availability starting around September 19-20.

Last year, Apple surprised everyone by not increasing the prices of its base models. In fact, the iPhone 16 Pro models were launched at a lower price than the iPhone 15 Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro debuted at a starting price of Rs 1,19,900, compared to Rs 1,34,900 for the iPhone 15 Pro.
Similarly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max was priced at Rs 1,44,900, Rs 15,000 less than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which started at Rs 1,59,900. However, with major design changes expected this year, the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max could see a slight price hike and is rumoured to carry a premium price tag of Rs 1,45,000.
