In a heartbreaking incident, a 40-year-old employee, identified as Shankar died of a sudden cardiac arrest only minutes after sending a leave message to his manager.

The incident happened on Friday morning when Shankar sent a text to his manager saying, “Sir, due to heavy back pain I am unable to come today. So please grant me leave.”

The manager, assuming it was a normal request replied to him, “Ok take rest.” However, just ten minutes later, Shankar suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

At around 11 am, the manager received a call informing him of Shankar’s death. Unable to believe the news, he then contacted another colleague for confirmation and rushed to Shankar’s residence.

The manager took to his X account to share this tragic story. “I called another colleague to reconfirm and to get his residence address. Got the address and rushed to his house. He was NO MORE,” He wrote.

Sharing his experience with Shankar the manager further shared that he was working with him from the past 6 years. He was married, has a child, was healthy, fit and had never tasted Alcohol or smoked.

The manager concluded with a message saying, “Life is so unpredicatable. Be kind to people around you & live life happily till it lasts, for you never know whats in store the next minute.”
