Phulbani: In the shocking incident of the super glue on the eyes of eight students in Odisha, the school principal has been reportedly suspended, said reports on Saturday.
According to reports, the District Welfare Officer has suspended the school principal Manoranjan Sahu on the orders of the Kandhamal District Magistrate, a further probe is underway.
In a shocking incident on Friday, industrial adhesive (super glue) was put on the eyes of as many as eight hostel students in Kandhamal district of Odisha.
According to further reports, all the eight students have become critical and have been hospitalized following the incident. The incident has been reported from the Salaguda Sevashram of Salaguda Panchayat under Phiringia Block.
What’s more shocking is that, a few students who are minors are suspected to have committed the trick while the injured students were sleeping at night. The eight victims were first admitted to Gochhapada Primary Health Center (PHC).
Later, as their condition deteriorated, they were admitted to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) at Phulbani. While one student is in a better condition, the Phiringia District Welfare Officer reached the spot and is assessing the situation.
