Bhubaneswar: Ama Saathi Unified WhatsApp Bot has been launched in Odisha. Using this now citizens can avail government services like applying for birth certificates, death certificates, legal heir certificates, driving licences etc. through WhatsApp.

Odisha government has launched the Ama Saathi Unified WhatsApp Bot, an initiative that allows citizens to access various government services directly through WhatsApp.
By sending a message to the WhatsApp number 9437292000, citizens can apply for essential documents like birth certificates, death certificates, legal heir certificates, driving licenses, residential certificates, income certificates, and fertilizer licenses.
Initially, the bot offers 132 services from different government departments, with plans to integrate all public services notified under the Odisha Right to Public Service Act by the end of 2025.
Moreover, the bot supports both English and Odia, making it user-friendly for citizens. However, for those who face language barriers, the ‘Bhashini Platform’ can be used for voice-based services.
The bot has been created through a partnership between the Odisha government’s General Administration and Public Grievances Department and Meta.
