Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has added another annual plan for it’s prepaid customers. Vodafone Idea silently added the Rs 2249 prepaid plan to the list without much promotion. The telecom operator offers an array of benefits with the plan including unlimited voice calling, SMS, 40GB of data and more.

This Vi Rs 2249 plan is more affordable than other yearly validity plans bundled with data that others offer.

At a time, where the telecom oprator are imposing tariff hikes and increasing the price of recharge plans Vodafone Idea aims to attract customers with this cheaper yearly plan.

Vodafone Idea’s Rs 2249 plan comes with benefits of unlimited voice calling, 3600 SMS in total and 30GB of data in most circles. However, the users in Himachal Pradesh, can get a much higher 40GB of data, instead of the 30GB with the plan. There could be more circles where users may get 40GB of data.

You can get this plan in all the circles across the country where Vodafone Idea offers it’s services.

This plan is good for those who need a plan that is reasonably priced and has a long-term validity. The daily cost of using this plan is Rs 6.16, which is pretty affordable compared to what users have to pay for yearly plans bundled with data. Though, it does not let you use internet for long hours it will be sufficient for minimal use of internet. Moreover, you can just add more data packs to your pack after the data is exhausted before the end of the service validity of the prepaid plan. The data tariff post quota completion will be charged at 50 paise/MB. The post SMS quota, charges are applicable at Rs 1/1.5 for local/STD SMS.
