New Car launch in April 2025: Check which manufacture will introduce new car in India

It is the end of March 2025 and we have reached the end of Q1 of this year. The Q2 of 2025 will be starting from April and we will be getting some new cars in the market. Multiple manufactures will be introducing cars in the Indian market and that includes both Indian and Non-Indian manufacturers.

We have mentioned some models that will launch in Indian market this April.

Volkswagen Tiguan R Line

The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line offers signature ‘R’ badging on the interior as well as on the exterior. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 201hp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. The SUV gets 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission along with 4MOTION all-wheel drive (AWD). Tiguan R Line can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 7.1 seconds while the top speed will be 229 kmph.

MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster EV is likely to go on sale next month and it will be the first car (offered by the company) that will be offered in its ‘Select’ showrooms.

The sportscar was showcased with dual motors on-board. It is the top spec variant and the motor produces 510hp of maximum power and 725Nm of peak torque. It can achieve 0-100 kmph in a time span of 3.2 seconds. The claimed range of the variant will be 580km.

On the other hand, the company might bring the entry-level variant later. The model is powered by a single rear-axle-mounted 310hp motor and it gets 64kWh battery. The entry level variant is claimed to offer 520km range.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will be offered in Sportline and L&K version. Both versions of the Kodiaq will have some visual changes on them. However, both the versions will be powered by the same 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. The company will also introduce the powerful Kodiaq RS by the end of 2025.

When it comes to engine, both the models will get 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which remains unchanged. The output figures are 190hp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. There is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Citroen Basalt Dark Edition

Citroen Basalt Dark Edition is likely to be launched next month. The company has teased about the same earlier. If compared to the regular model, this edition gets cosmetic upgrade.

The Basalt SUV is available in 1.2-litre NA petrol engine as well as 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The NA engine makes 82 hp and 115 Nm and is paired with 5-speed manual engine. On the other hand, the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine generates 110hp. The torque figures of the engines are 190 Nm and 205 Nm for 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.

Kia Carens facelift

The Kia Carens facelift is likely to offer upgrades on the exterior as well as interior of the SUV. The facelift version will have the same engine options as the older version.

Mechanically, the Kia Carens facelift is expected to remain the same as the outgoing version. This means it will be offered in 1.5-liter, naturally aspirated, four-cylinder and 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine can generate a 115 hp of power and a peak torque of 144 Nm. The other petrol engine variant will be the 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, keen to produce 160 hp power and 253 Nm of torque. The diesel engine will produce a peak power output of 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
