New Delhi: A viral post on X has made people discuss and spark debates on how the cost of eating has gradually increased over the past two decades.
The post on X by ‘@dsureshkumar’ includes a photo of a restaurant bill from 2009 located in Chennai. The bill shows the cost of three items named A plate of idli (2 pieces) for Rs. 14.50, A combo of side dish with chapati for Rs. 26 and a mini filter coffee. After including the Value added tax the total bill was Rs. 50 at Hotel Sharvana Bhawan.
The post on X has received views in huge amount with numerous people commenting on it .
