KIIT-KISS founder Achyuta Samanta addresses QS Reimagine Education Conference, signs MoUs with University of Southampton and Sheffield Hallam University
During his one-day visit to London, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) founder Achyuta Samanta addressed the QS Reimagine Education Conference.
Bhubaneswar: During his one-day visit to London, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) founder Achyuta Samanta addressed the QS Reimagine Education Conference.
During his address, Samanta shared his thoughts on education, inclusion, and the journey of KIIT & KISS. Educators and leaders from different parts of the world were part of the Conference.
On this occasion, the KIIT-KISS founder also met Prof. Colin Riordan CBE, Secretary General and Chief Executive of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and had a very warm discussion on higher education and how they can work together for the benefit of students.
He also met Vikram Doraiswami, the High Commissioner of India to the UK. “It was a very warm interaction, and I felt happy to receive his kind words and goodwill. We spoke about education, youth, and how KIIT & KISS try to serve society,” Samanta said.
This apart, Samanta signed two different Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) Southampton and Sheffield Hallam University.
KIIT inked the pact with Sheffield Hallam University, UK, with the aim to strengthen the global academic partnerships and open new avenues for collaborative research and student exchange.

Likewise, KIIT signed the second MoU with the University of Southampton, marking a significant step towards expanding global academic collaboration, joint research, and international exchange opportunities.
