Flagship Merit Scholarship Award: 22 DAV Vedanta International School students felicitated for exceptional performance in 2024–25 academic year

A total of 22 exceptional students from the 2024–25 academic batch were felicitated under the Vedanta Merit Scholarship Awards. The ceremony was graced by Lanjigarh Block Development Officer (BDO) Animesh Pradhan.
As part of the scholarship initiative, toppers of Standards X and XII scoring above 90% received Rs 10,000 each, while students securing over 90% in individual subjects were awarded ₹5,000. Toppers from Standards VI to IX were recognized with Rs 8,000 each, celebrating their exceptional academic performance.
Speaking on the occasion, Pranab Kumar Bhattacharyya, CEO, Vedanta Alumina Business said, “Education is the strongest foundation for a progressive society. Through the Vedanta Merit Scholarship Awards, we aim to recognize excellence, inspire ambition, and empower young minds to pursue their aspirations with confidence. The Lanjigarh BDO lauded the initiative and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence. He said, “Such initiatives play a vital role in motivating students from all backgrounds to perform better academically. I congratulate all the awardees and urge them to remain focused, disciplined, and determined.”
The Vedanta Merit Scholarship initiative is part of Vedanta Lanjigarh’s broader social development efforts aimed at promoting quality education, supporting meritorious students, and building an enabling ecosystem for youth development in the region.
