Bali Yatra to be conducted at Upper ground this year! HC to hear case on October 9
The Bali Yatra 2025 will be organised in the Upper ground this year for which Cuttack administration will provide an affidavit to HC.
Cuttack: The historic Bali Yatra will be conducted in the Upper ground also for which an affidavit will be submitted to the Orissa High Court.
Cuttack Collector Dattatreya Bhausaheb Shinde said the blueprint for the conduction of Bali Yatra in the upper ground also will be informed to the HC.
A meeting was conducted at the Collector’s Residence. The hearing in this matter is scheduled to be held on October 9.
On the other hand, the registration of the allotment of plots began from September 26 and will continue till October 6. It will be allotted only through auction and the interested individuals or institutions can apply for the same through both online and offline.
An individual or institution can apply for a maximum of only three plots but they will have to deposit an initial registration amount of Rs 5000 for each plot, Mohanta said adding that a plot will be auctioned if there are more than one applicants for the same plot. However, there will be some reserved plots for the Odisha Rural Development & Marketing Society (ORMAS) and other government agencies.
