Cuttack Bali Jatra gets new name, to begin from November 5, 2025
The Bali Jatra will be held on 60 acres of land instead of 34 acres this time.
Cuttack: The historic Bali Jatra of Cuttack in Odisha has got a new name this year. Not only that reportedly a new logo has been given to this world famous event this time. Meanwhile it has been learned that the famous fair to commemorate the Odisha’s golden maritime past will begin from November 5, 2025 to continue till 12th November. A preparatory meeting was held today in Cuttack.
The famous Cuttack Bali Jatra 2025 will commence from November 5 to continue till 12th November on the bank of River Mahanadi in Cuttack of Odisha.
This time a new name has been given to the famous festival. It has been named as ‘Aitihasika Balijatra Cuttack 2025″ (Historic Balijatra Cuttack 2025) “.
The Bali Jatra will be held only in the lower ground (Tala Padia). Keeping in mind the crowd and traffic management, the fair will not be organised in the upper ground (Upara Padia).
The Bali Jatra will be held on 60 acres of land instead of 34 acres this time. All the information will be available on the Bali Yatra portal. Especially all the information related to traffic and parking will be available on the portal.
The cultural troupe will be selected by the District Cultural Council. Those who are registered in the Society Registration App can apply. Each troupe will be given 20 minutes for performance.
