Man arrested for threatening to kill PM Modi and Yogi in Mumbai; Claims affiliation with Dawood Ibrahim

The Mumbai Police arrested man for sending death threats to PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

Mumbai: The Mumbai Police arrested one Kamran Khan on Tuesday after he allegedly made threats against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Khan, who claimed to be associated with underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim, made the ominous calls to the Mumbai Police control room.

Khan reportedly contacted the Mumbai Police control room, asserting that he had been instructed by a henchman of Dawood Ibrahim to orchestrate a bombing targeting Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Adityanath.

Law enforcement swiftly traced the call to Chunabhatti in Mumbai, leading to the arrest of Kamran Khan. The Azad Maidan police have filed a case against him under section 505 (1) of the IPC and are conducting further investigations into the matter.
