Hyderabad: A new gang of robbers ” Chudidar gang” has now emerged in Telangana’s Hyderabad who have been disguised themselves as women and committed a robbery at an apartment at Akruti Arcade in SR Nagar Colony under SR Nagar police station limits on Sunday night.
The entire incident was caught on CCTV, where they can been seeing wearing women’s attire Chudidar salwar and kurta along with the burkha. Their faces were covered with nakaab.
The members of the Churidar gang broke into the home of Venkateshwar Rao at Akriti Arcade Apartments in JEC Colony and stole 40 gm gold, Rs 1 lakh in cash and a laptop.
According to police, Venkateshwar Rao, along with his family members, had gone to Ongole when the burglary took place at their apartment. The incident came to light when the househelp came to the house and saw the broken lock.
Later, Venkateshwar Rao approached the police and registered a complaint in connection with the matter. The police initiated an investigation into the matter and also checked the CCTV footage, after which it was clear that two robbers entered the house, disguised as women.
The video of the incident is going viral on social media and has created panic among the locals.
