ISRO’s PSLV-C62 Mission set to launch on January 12, Citizens can witness free of cost

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is gearing up for the launch of its PSLV-C62 Mission on January 12, 2026. The launch is scheduled to take place at 10:17 AM IST from the First Launch Pad at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota.

The public can witness this event live from the Launch View Gallery at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota, free of cost, by registering online. The Launch View Gallery is part of India’s Space Theme Park, a project developed by ISRO to give citizens a front-row experience of India’s space achievements.

The launch is scheduled for Monday, 12 January 2026, at 10:17 AM, and visitors will be able to witness it from India’s Space Theme Park at the spaceport. The project, developed by ISRO, aims to give citizens a front-row experience of India’s space achievements.

While work is still ongoing on the Rocket Garden (featuring models of Sounding Rockets, SLV, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV, and LVM3) and the Space Museum (showcasing the full journey of India’s space programme), the Launch View Gallery is already open to the public and can accommodate thousands of spectators.

Visitors must carry a valid government ID (Aadhaar, Driving License, etc.), along with a mobile number and email for registration. Institute groups require an official letter from the head of the institute.
