Huawei will be launching its upcoming foldable smartphone- Nova Flip S very soon and key specifications about the device have been leaked. The Huawei Nova Flip S will be powered by a mid-range Kirin 8 series processor, mentioned the latest report by Huawei Central.
The new foldable device from Huawei has been spotted on a certification website. A new leak from Weibo tipster @SuperDimensional has revealed that foldable device will have Kirin 8020 or Kirin 8030 chipset. The Kirin 8020 is already available on the Nova 14 Ultra (which offers 5G and performance boost).
The Kirin 8020 is rumoured to offer under-clocked version of Mate 70 Pro’s 9020 chip. The chipset offers 1+3+4 CPU configuration and is clocked at 2.29GHz. One primary core is clocked at 2.285GHz while 3 medium cores are clocked at 2.05GHz. Other 4 cores are clocked at 1.3GHz.
The Nova Flip came with Kirin 8000 chipset. The chipset offers a 2.40GHz prime core, three 2.19GHz medium cores, and four 1.84GHz cores.
There is possibility of Kirin 8030 in the Nova Flip S. The tipster also pointed out that device might offer the above mentioned processor.
The CPU configuration of the device is yet unknown. When it comes to operating system, the Nova Flip S will pack HarmonyOS 5.1 out of the box.
