Samsung is reportedly working on a wide-screen foldable device that might make it’s debut in 2026. Meanwhile, Apple is also rumoured to be working on a foldable iPhone, which will feature unusually wide dimensions with a wide inner display.
According to a new report, Samsung is working on a foldable with a 7.6-inch OLED inner screen that’ll have a 4:3 aspect ratio. The foldable is said to be unveiled next year with a passport-style design.
The screen’s dimension and aspect ratio are said to be similar to the upcoming iPhone Fold, which is rumored to offer a 7.58-inch inner display.
The report also notes that the upcoming ‘wide fold’ from Samsung will sport a 5.4-inch cover screen. It is said to offer 25W wireless charging.
Notably, a leak from last week included images of Samsung’s rumored “wide” foldable. According to the leak, Samsung shared images of an unreleased foldable phone as part of a survey focused on foldable form factors.
