Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra important specifications leaked, will get an upgraded 200MP primary camera
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display which will be brighter and more efficient than its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the premium smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer for 2026. The device will be launching in January next year. Some important specifications of the upcoming device have been leaked through the latest leak.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra expected specifications
The latest leak (through a post) on X (formerly Twitter) by Independent Mobile Tech Commentator, Jason C. (@_TheJasonC) has highlighted key specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The smartphone will have a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display which will be brighter and more efficient than its predecessor. The device could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. However, some regions will have an Exynos 2600 SoC. The device will feature a 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. A massive 5000mAh battery will be offered on the device and it will support 60W fast wired charging support. There will be 15W wireless charging support too. This is an upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 45W wired charging support.
When it comes to build, the smartphone will be lighter and offer better cooling. The thickness of the device is expected to be 7.9mm.
In terms of camera, the smartphone might offer a 200MP primary camera but with an upgraded aperture. There is likely to be a 50MP 5x telephoto lens with 50MP ultra-wide lens.
When it comes to software support, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will pack OneUI 8.5 on Android 16. There will be 7 years of software/ security updates on the device.
The upcoming flagship smartphone was spotted in the unfinished One UI 8.5 code and it revealed that there might be a support for ‘Private Display’ and ‘Privacy Display.’
