The possibility that Galaxy S26 series will not get a selfie update might be real, mentioned a leak by Roland Quandt reported GSMArena. For those who are unknown, the S25, S24 and S23 series get a 12MP selfie camera and the same is expected to be offered in the S26 series. Way back, the Galaxy S22 Ultra had a 40MP selfie camera. The current selfie camera in the S25 series does offer great skin tones and dynamic range.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra update
The smartphone will have a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display which will be brighter and more efficient than its predecessor. The device could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. However, some regions will have an Exynos 2600 SoC. The device will feature a 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. A massive 5000mAh battery will be offered on the device and it will support 60W fast wired charging support. There will be 15W wireless charging support too.
In terms of camera, the smartphone might offer a 200MP primary camera but with an upgraded aperture. There is likely to be a 50MP 5x telephoto lens with 50MP ultra-wide lens.
