The Realme GT 7 smartphone will be launching soon in the company’s home market (i.e. China). Sources have already confirmed that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimesnity 9400+ SoC (3nm). On the other hand, the battery as well as charging details of the smartphone has been revealed by a senior company executive. A recent leak by a tipster had also leaked some details about the upcoming device.
For those who are unknown, the Realme GT 7 will be the successor to the Realme GT 6 that launched last year.
Realme Vice President Xu Qi Chase in his Weibo post has confirmed that realme GT 7 will pack a 7000mAh capacity battery. It will have the support for 100W wired fast charging. He mentioned that despite a large battery size, the device will have a lightweight chassis. The executive also claimed that they are trying to challenge industry standards like “thinness means sacrificing batteries” and “fast charging will inevitably lose capacity” through the latest GT device.
It is expected that the Realme smartphone with ‘RMX6688’ model number that was spotted on China’s 3C certification website will be the GT 7 smartphone. The listing had also suggested that the device will have a 100W wired fast charging support. If we compare the GT 7 with the GT 6, the older device offers 5800mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support. While the thickness is 8.43mm, the weight is 206g.
According to a post by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the GT 7 is likely to offer 8.3mm in thickness while the weight is 205g. The device will pack the latest Realme UI based on Color OS (Android 15).
The device will also offer a flat display with slim bezels and 144Hz refresh rate. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will we used for biometric authentication and the device will get IP69 dust and water resistance rating too.
