OriginOS 6 rollout in India will start from November 2025 with devices like Vivo X200 Series, Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo V60.
Vivo will be rolling out the OriginOS 6 in India from the start of November 2025. OriginOS 6 rollout in India will start with devices like Vivo X200 Series, Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo V60. The update will continue till first half of 2026 over more than 20 models of Vivo in India.
OriginOS 6 was launched in China on October 10 in the recently introduced Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 smartphones. Both the device offers Android 16-based ColorOS 6 out-of-the-box.

Vivo has pointed out some of the areas where OriginOS will be better than the Funtouch OS. The OriginOS will offer smoothness at its core and this means the animations will feel more alive with a design that masters light and shadow space. The new OS brings ‘Origin Island’ which offers timely and thoughtful suggestions with corresponding convenient actions. The lock screen can be more personalised than before. Cross-device connectivity also increases with OriginOS.
