OnePlus reveals front design and new Dune colour option of OnePlus 15

OnePlus has released some pictures of OnePlus 15 (on Weibo) which show the rear and front look of the device.

The OnePlus 15 smartphone will be launching next month in China. The company had already revealed that the device will offer Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon chipset. OnePlus has also revealed the front design and new Dune colour option of OnePlus 15. On the rear, the device offers some similarity to OnePlus 13s.

OnePlus has released some pictures of the smartphone (on Weibo) which show the rear and front look of the device. The company has also teased a new colour option- Dune for the smartphone. The Dune colour is inspired by the sand dunes and offers an ‘Ice Skin’ feel when held. The device will offer an aerospace-grade Nano-ceramic metal frame with rounded edges.

The images show that the device has become rounder on the edges. On the rear, the smartphone gets a camera module that is similar to one present on OnePlus 13s. The squircle shaped camera island houses three cameras and a LED flash. While two cameras are offered in pill shaped camera module, the third camera and flash are placed separately.

When it comes to the front display, the OnePlus 15 gets a flat punch-hole display with round corners. According to rumours, the smartphone gets a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel with 1.15mm thin bezels. The refresh rate of the device is expected to be 165Hz. Colour options on the smartphone will be Absolute Black, Dune, and Mist Purple colour options.

When it comes to processor, the OnePlus 15 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The device is expected to offer ColorOS16 out of the box in China. Even though the company is yet to announce the official launch date in China, it is expected to launch around the end of October.
