OnePlus is set to launch its next offering OnePlus 15 in the global market on October 13. The OnePlus 15 might also be launched on in China on the same day. Some pictures and specifications of the smartphone have been leaked ahead of launch.

OnePlus has not revealed many details about the specifications of the upcoming phone. However, it has confirmed that it will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform.

Specifications

According to the leak report, the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a 6.78-inch, 1.5K, BOE X3 AMOLED display with LTPO technology, brightness of 1,800 nits, and upto 1Hz to 165Hz dynamic refresh rate. It will also have Dolby Vision and Pro XDR support.

The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It will be offered in multiple storage variant including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. However, these might differ per region. There will also be Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0 tech on board.

The OnePlus 15 tipped to feature a triple 50MP setup on the rear, with a Sony LYT-700 sensor on the main camera (24mm, f/1.8, OIS) and two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors – one for the 0.6x ultrawide (15mm, f/2.0) and one for the 3.5x telephoto (85mm, f/2.8, OIS).

It is also said to pack a 7,300 mAh third-generation glacier battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Other features expected are a new generation of linear dual speakers, a large volume vibration motor, a new generation wet hand touch algorithm, an under-display fingerprint reader of the ultrasonic variety, a new generation cooling system, multi-function NFC and IR blaster and a USB 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) Type-C port.

The OnePlus 15 might be offered in Purple, Titanium, or Black in the memory tiers we previously mentioned.
