Honor Magic 8 Pro to launch soon, will offer a powerful 200MP rear camera

Honor is all set to launch its new Magic 8 series which includes the Magic 8 and Magic 8 pro. The series is expected launch in China on October 16. Before the launch, the company has shared new details about the Magic 8 Pro’s camera system.

Specifications

Honor has confirmed that the Magic 8 Pro will come with a 200 Megapixel telephoto camera. The camera will use a 1/1.4-inch sensor with a large f/2.6 aperture. This will helps it capture more light for brighter and clearer photos.

Further, the phone will use Honor’s special AIMAGE Nox Engine to process pictures, improving sharpness and details even in low light.

The company has also revealed that the Magic 8 Pro will feature the world’s first Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA) 5.5-stop image stabilisation. In simple terms, this means the phone can reduce blur caused by shaky hands and allow users to take clear photos even at slower shutter speeds.

Apart from the camera, the Magic 8 series will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and will run on Honor’s latest MagicOS 10 software right out of the box.
