Google had recently rolled out the Wear OS 6 update for Google Pixel Watch 4, Watch 3, and Watch 2 devices. However, all the features that were showcased by the company in May are not available currently. The always-display media controls update will be available for users at latter part of this year.
According to the above mentioned report, the update will not be limited to specific model as Google mentioned ‘Pixel Watch’ instead of a certain model. It is still unclear whether the update will be available for all the smartwatch models at the same time. The report claimed that the update will be part of the next quarterly Pixel Watch update and might be available in December. The availability for the update on the older Google Pixel Watches might be at a later date.
Google Pixel Watch 4 comes with brighter (up to 3000 nits) and larger domed display. The battery backup on the device is up to 40 hours and it offers personalised fitness insights. Buyers can choose from 41mm and 45mm diameter dials.
