Apple iPad 11 with A16 chipset launched in India, Price starts at Rs 34,900 for 128GB
Apple iPad 11 with A16 offers an upgrade over the older generation (2022 model). The performance is 30 percent more than the older model.
Cupertino based tech giant Apple has launched the iPad 11 in India as well as global markets. The new iPad 11 gets A16 chip and the base variant now offers 128GB storage option. Apple has now pulled the plug from the 64GB variant of iPad. The tablet is now available for pre-order in India through Apple’s official website. The tablet will be available starting from March 12.
The Apple iPad 11 with A16 offers an upgrade over the older generation (2022 model). The A16 SoC that powers the device is the same one that came with the iPhone 14 Pro series. However, the iPad 11 gets a binned version of the A16. The SoC gets one less CPU and GPU core. Even though Apple has not revealed the RAM capacity of the tablet, it is assumed that it will be less than 8GB. It is because it does not run Apple Intelligence. However, the performance is 30 percent more than the older model.
The device offers 11-inch liquid retina display (2360×1640 px resolution) with 500 nits brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. The rear camera is 12MP wide camera with Autofocus while the front camera is a 12MP camera. For security purpose, the Touch ID sensor is integrated with power button. Connectivity options of the iPad 11 include Wi-Fi 6, 5G and Bluetooth 5.3. When it comes to accessories, iPad 11 supports Apple Pencil and Magnetic Keyboard Folio.
Colour options that are available on the tablet are Silver, Blue, Pink, and Yellow. The device is available in Wi-Fi and 5G (Cellular) variants.
