New Delhi: MS Dhoni continues to showcase his stump magic as he takes wicket of Phil Salt in just 0.16 seconds.
At 43, MS Dhoni proves why he is one of the greatest wicketkeepers in cricket history. During Chennai Super Kings (CSK) clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Friday, Dhoni’s lightning fast brilliant move behind the stumps brought Phil Salt’s batting to an end, leaving fans in shock.
Salt had scored 36 in just 16 balls, hitting five fours and a six. However, his attacks were stopped by Dhoni’s brilliance.
Facing googly from Noor Ahmad, Salt attempted to hit but was beaten. He momentarily lifted his backfoot while trying to regain balance, Dhoni was quicker than a blink- whipped off the balls in just 0.16 seconds.
The decision however was referred to third umpire, and replay confirmed the wicket. Salt’s foot was in the air when Dhoni completed his dismissal. The Chepauk stadium erupted with joy and shock as Dhoni’s master stumping was added to his legendary list of stumping.
This moment was replay of the previous stumping wicket, where MS Dhoni had stunned Surya Kumar Yadav with the same technique during CSK vs MI match at the same stadium on Sunday, 23 March.
Dhoni continues to prove as to why he is a legend in wicket keeping.
