India’s U-19 world cup 2026 team announced
Ayush Mhatre plays as the captain for the World Cup, with Vihaan Malhotra serving as vice-captain.
New Delhi: Five time champions India has announced their squad on saturday for ICC Men’s world cup 2026, which starts from January 15 in Zimbabwe and Namibia. India has been the ICC Men’s world cup winner five times in 2000, 2008, 2012, 2018 and 2022.
India have been placed in Group B alongside New Zealand, USA and Bangladesh. India will open their campaign against the USA on January 15 at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, followed by matches against Bangladesh on January 17 at the same venue and New Zealand on January 24.

India have made further two changes to their side from the U19 Asia Cup with Yuvraj Gohil and Naman Pushpak stepping aside for R.S. Ambrish and Mohamed Enaan.
Prior to U19 world cup 2026 14-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ,who serves as vice-captain of the white-ball side matches has been named captain for the south Africa tour while Ayush Mhatre recovers from injury.
South Africa tour three-match one-day series are scheduled to be held on January 3, 5, and 7, 2026 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.
