SSC Police SI recruitment 2025: Last date to apply for over 3,000 vacancies today
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will stop accepting applications for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) today.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will stop accepting applications for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) today that is on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Eligible candidates who have not applied for the posts should hurry and apply now as the application window will close by 11 PM today.
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications online through the official website of SSC which is ssc.gov.in. The computer-Based Test (CBT) will be held in November-December 2025.
After the application window closes, candidates can pay the application fee online until October 17, 2025, up to 11 PM. A correction window for updating details in the application will be available from October 26 to 27, 2025, until 11 PM.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be Indian citizens, or Nepal/Bhutan subjects with a Government of India eligibility certificate.
Those needing an eligibility certificate can appear for the exam but will get appointment only after the certificate is issued.
Age must be between 20 and 25 years as of August 1, 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories.

Application fee:
The candidates belonging to general category, applying for the posts will need to pay an application fees of Rs 100. Meanwhile, the women, SC, ST, and eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted. The payment can carried out through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit card.
