Chhattisgarh: In another case of human-animal conflict, a leopard cub entered a house in Dudhawa village of Kanker district in Chhattisgarh on March 4. People were terrorised and fled the house in panic.
As shown in the video, a leopard cub somehow entered the Dudhawa village. Some locals tried to catch it by trapping it with a net. The leopard panicked as it got trapped in the net.
In an attempt to escape the net, the leopard jumped over a wall and luckily found a way out of the net and entered the house. However, as the leopard escaped from the net, the locals got terrorised.
This video of the leopard cub entering house in Chhattisgarh has gone viral in the Internet with many sharing the video. Speaking about the incident, Range officer Bhag Singh Suryavanshi reported that around 5am, a mother leopard and her cub entered the neighbourhood. He said,”the pair were separated when a pack of bags barked at them. While the mother leopard escaped, the baby invaded the human habitation and took refuge in the teacher’s house.”
After escaping from the trap, the cub fled to the nearby hill which is only 100 meters away from the village. The forest department later successfully guided the leopard back into the wild.
