Himachal Pradesh: Devotees perform kirtan at the world’s highest temple, Yulla Kanda, at approximately 13,000 feet with heavy snow and temperature of minus 9 degrees in the Himalayas.
A total of 75 devotees crafted history by performing first-ever kirtan at Yulla Kanda’s highest Lord Krishna temple in the Himalayas with discipline, cleanliness, and collective faith..
It was a two-day event involving a 12 km uphill trek, with all essentials carried by hand.
The temple was on a small island with a sacred alpine lake, a blend of nature, devotion, and peace behind the commercial world within the Lippa Asrang Wildlife Sanctuary. The protected area was established in 1974 and covers 3,089 hectares located in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district.
The gathering was uniquely welcomed by the season’s first snowfall, adding to its sacred atmosphere.
Live meditative chanting began as the sun set over the mountain, making it an unforgettable spiritual moment.
A video of the event was uploaded by @spiritualsundowner on Instagram, which went viral and amazed people on the internet.
