Madhya Pradesh: In a unique and emotional incident, IAS officer Sanskriti Jain was given a special farewell in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni district on Sunday.
To honour her work and bond with the district, she was carried in a decorated palanquin. Making the moment even more touching, her two young daughters sat beside her during the farewell.
A video of the farewell has gone viral on social media. In the video, officers, staff members and locals are seen walking along with the palanquin, waving and wishing her good luck.
People online praised the farewell, calling it a beautiful way of showing respect and affection to a hardworking officer.
Sanskriti Jain had been serving as the Collector of Seoni and was well known for her dedication, sincerity and close connection with both the administration and the residents of the district.
Many officials and staff members shared garlands, speeches and warm wishes, expressing their gratitude for her contribution.
